It was a collaborative piece with half of the art club kids working on this board. 

I primed it, then the girls used acrylic paint for the mermaid design. I used a concrete mixer to smooth the rough edges from broken coloured bottle glass and the kids sorted the colours and sizes before adhering it to the board. 

Then I topped it with a coat of resin to seal it all up to give it that lovely shine and textured finish! Super fun project.
