Oil Techniques with Efren Gonzalez

Meet renowned artist Efren Gonzalez and learn from his talent at this three day workshop in Tofino, learning oil painting techniques from a master of his craft.

Efren Gonzalez born in Ajijic, Mexico and is a prodigious painter in all media, particularly in oil, watercolor, pastel and acrylic.

Efren is known equally well known as a painter on canvas and as a muralist. One of the few Ajijic born artists, Efren was inspired and taught by the local Neil James Art Education Program during his childhood before becoming a full time painter in the early nineties.

Efren’s paintings depict the things he sees in everyday life—the colorful people and landscapes of his beloved Mexico.

Efren will guide you to complete a painting each day and you will go home with three paintings at the end of the workshop.
