Outer Coast is a vibrant network of non-profits from the Tofino and Ucluelet region, extending to the Nations along the northern and southern coasts of the Pacific Rim. In this remote and beautiful area, we’ve rebranded our collective identity as "Outer Coast" to reflect a shared commitment to bridging divides between our communities.
Born from the desire to foster connection and mutual support for the diverse non-profits supporting our communities, Outer Coast emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and communication.
Together, we aim to strengthen our non-profit sector and ensure a thriving future.

In collaboration with the District of Tofino, the Tofino Arts Council launched a series of roundtable events in 2023 for arts and culture non-profits in the region.
Over 30 organizations participated in the first sessions, which sparked the creation of a dedicated working group: Outer Coast.
Today, Outer Coast represents a committed network of non-profits meeting regularly in Tofino and Ucluelet. Together, we've developed tools like a shared events calendar, upcoming volunteer portal and a resource directory to support the arts and culture sector. These resources, hosted on the TAC website, continue to foster collaboration and elevate arts and culture experiences for locals and visitors alike.
