Instructions: Poppy Beading Kit

Please watch the Orange T-Shirt beading video above to learn the basic beading technique.

Beading Instructions

  • Thread your needle and bead two white beads onto the center of the leather poppy.

  • Bead approximately 11 black beads to form a circle around the white beads.

  • Following the four marker lines extending from the center, bead with black beads to create the lines.

  • Outline the poppy with red beads.

  • Attach four quills, placing one in the middle of each section of the poppy. The needle will thread directly through each quill.

  • Begin filling in the rest of the poppy with red beads until the entire poppy is covered.

  • Once complete, use a glue gun to glue the pin backing onto the back of the beaded poppy.
