Our Work
We run art workshops, school programs, community exhibitions and festivals, and maintain a directory of local artists. We are also the founders of the Outer Coast group of local nonprofits and host an annual Community Cultural Roundtable.
Why give?

We support over 80 artist members, including offering free membership to local Indigenous artists.
We manage a searchable directory of local artists and and act as advocates for artists in our community. -

The Outer Coast network of nonprofits is a TAC and District of Tofino initiative that brings together over 30 local organizations monthly to share resources and collaborate.

We offer small grants to local artists who wouldn’t normally have access to any funding sources. In 2024 we distributed over 10k to 22 individuals, collectives and schools.

Our annual Visions exhibition offers artists an honorarium for participating (making them eligible for larger provincial and federal funding streams).

Our online series of Arts & Culture Walks highlight public art in our community and First Nations histories and includes hours of audio interviews with local artists and knowledge keepers.

We launched the online Makuw̓as market in partnership with Tourism Tofino to support local Indigenous artists.
