Come and meet award-winning First Nations actor, writer director and comedian Darrell Dennis.

Darrell Dennis is an award-winning First Nations (Secwepemc) actor, writer, director, and comedian. Darrell got his breakout acting role on the CBC drama NORTHWOOD. Since then, he has had leading roles in THE REZ, BLACKSTONE, and OPEN HEART. Darrell’s one-man show TALES OF AN URBAN INDIAN was nominated for two Dora Awards and produced for multiple tours across North America. Darrell received a scholarship to train at the world-famous Second City and was the first-ever Native comedian to be hired as a cast member in any of the Second City companies. Darrell was recently the writer/director and series regular on the APTN comedy variety series THE GUILT FREE ZONE and had a recurring role as Detective Kyle Winters on the hit Netflix series THE LINCOLN LAWYER. In the fall of 2022, Darrell wrote, directed, and starred in his feature film THE GREAT SALISH HEIST which is slated for release in 2023. Darrell is currently directing his second feature film SWEET SUMMER POW WOW which he co-wrote with his partner Katya Gardner and is slated for release in 2024.
