Tofino Arts Council values your creative mind! We are seeking to support projects, creations or performances that reflect this unique moment in Tofino’s history.

Remuneration

Proposals: up to $100 each proposal

Projects: up $500 each project, potentially more.

Deadline for Proposals: December 11, 2020.

Proposals addressed to the Tofino Arts Council can be hand delivered to the Common Loaf Bake Shop,
Mailed to PO Box 1141,
or sent to info@tofinoartscouncil.com

Art forms include visual arts, literary arts, dance, drama, sculpture, music and photography.

Consideration will be given to project ideas that are genuine, thoughtful, innovative and reflective of the pandemic in this community.

If your proposal is successful you will need to be a member of the Tofino Arts Council to receive project funding.

In submitting your proposal please answer the following questions:

1. What art form is your project?

2. How does your idea reflect the theme/s? Please give examples.

3. How would you share it with the community and how does this reflect social constraints imposed by the pandemic?

4. What would the money be used for?

5. How much money would you need to bring your idea to the point it can be shared with the community?

6. When would your project be complete?

7. If your project exceeds the $500 limit, how much more money would you need and why?
